One of the concerns voiced by many of my students on their language learning journey is their struggle to maintain the initial enthusiasm for daily practice.
They are aware that constant practice is the primary way to enrich their language skills. However, their initial enthusiasm often wanes despite a committed start. So how can the spark of a beginner's enthusiasm be preserved?
Consider a routine task you perform daily, unwaveringly. Whether it's brushing your teeth or combing your hair before stepping out, you execute it almost instinctively. This automatic response results from the habituation of such actions. Could a similar approach be applied to your language learning endeavours?
The answer lies in finding ways to integrate it into your daily life. Just like you automatically reach for your toothbrush in the morning, you can create triggers or reminders that prompt you to engage in language practice.
